Ëllgo Zbë Ner (/ˈɛllgo/ /zbɛ/ [fuzzy] [language; dialect]) is a subtropical Town located in the Fio̠dyokōn Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Ëllgo Zbë Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Ëllgo Zbë Ner was founded by Shêlè Pherierzoth, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Ëllgo Zbë Ner has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 3°C (37°F). Ëllgo Zbë Ner receives an average of 148 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Ëllgo Zbë Ner covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 3638 m (11935 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Ëllgo Zbë Ner was founded durring the late 10th century, by Shêlè Pherierzoth. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Shêlè Pherierzoth.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ëllgo Zbë Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner is is constructed arround a series of spacious flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Ëllgo Zbë Ner's timber-based walls are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

A look around Ëllgo Zbë Ner has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the abundance of schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Ëllgo Zbë Ner long.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Ëllgo Zbë Ner's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Ëllgo Zbë Ner's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is recurring in Ëllgo Zbë Ner.

The Slithering Pit near Ëllgo Zbë Ner are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Ëllgo Zbë Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves orgies to channel Illusion energies of tier 2 via oratory performances.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Ëllgo Zbë Ner was attacked by savage hagss living nearby. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ëllgo Zbë Ner lost 165 people, 153 livestock, and 89 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 126, when members of Ëllgo Zbë Ner's militia enacted an operation to deliver supplies to a specific depot. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Ëllgo Zbë Ner's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ëllgo Zbë Ner's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
